Safety Chris Harris is the somewhat surprising recipient of a new four-year $12 million contract extension. Harris had one more year left on his deal, but the Panther braintrust evidently resolved it was a good idea to lock him up now.
Harris played well and delivered big hits all year long. The question is, did the Panthers overpay for a solid starter, or cement a real difference-maker in the secondary for the next two or three years?
Guess we’ll find out next year.
