hhIn a new fundraising appeal rushed out to respond to the Alliance for NC TV buy, Pat McCrory’s campaign again trips over Bev Perdue, calling her “Purdue.”

The email starts out:

Today my opponent, Beverly Purdue, expanded her negative attacks on my campaign to television using a secret Washington, DC, front group that is financed by labor unions and the national Democratic Party. This attack group, a registered 527 organization called Alliance for North Carolina, is using secret money from unnamed donors to distort my record.

Recall back in January it was “governer” that tripped up the McCrory camp. This led to the brief claim that Pat’s campaign had been “hacked” by dark forces, perhaps secretive and unknown ones.

I’m sensing a theme. And problem.
