In addition to his television interview, Jon Sanders discussed his new payday lending report with the Greensboro News & Record. The State Policy Network featured Sanders’ report as a “Think tank spotlight” on its home page this week, and N.C. Senate Republicans promoted in their daily press emails both Sanders’ column on payday loans and a CarolinaJournal.tv video clip of Sanders discussing the topic.

The Daily Tar Heel interviewed two JLF researchers recently for separate stories. Sanders discussed legislation that would end North Carolina’s mandatory car inspections. Director of Research and Education Studies Terry Stoops reacted to legislation designed to reform the state lottery. Speaking of Stoops, a News & Observer letter writer responded to his recent N&O column touting the benefits of school choice.
