Perdue suggests she wouldn’t veto the Health Care Protection Act

Per the Charlotte Observer:

Saying “it’s not worth a battle,” Gov. Bev Perdue today said she would not sign — but may not veto — a Republican-backed bill that would have North Carolina join other states fighting the federal health care law.

“This kind of legislation is essentially unnecessary from my perspective,” Perdue said. “It’s not worth a battle.”
