The Wall Street Journal has an excellent piece by former Delaware governor Pete du Pont on the implications of Obamacare. It “Eurpeanizes” the US, ditching our traditional values of freedom and self-reliance for the sloth and servitude of most of Europe.
Naturally, that cheers the people who like government dependency, both the recipients of government goodies and the politicians who love dispensing them. Those people seem to have a hard time understanding why it infuriates those of us who prefer freedom. Maybe they need some “diversity training” to understand the strange belief that we’d rather that the government left us alone.
