Michael J. Fox is pushing for stem-cell research in the hopes that a cure for Parkinson’s Disease may be found. That’s fine.

As we learned at a Shaftesbury Society Luncheon by Dr. Jacques Mistrot, adult stem cell research has a better track record than embrionic stem-cell research.

So, it’s fine if Michael wants to put his support where the propability of success is low. It’s another thing to politicize the science, duping people into believing something that’s plainly false. Read about the distinction after watching the political ad.

Update: Kory warns that the above link is itself political. I agree. It’s worth reading, if for no other reason than the helpful links, which are above politics.
