That is me reading the tea leaves about six months out from the revaluation process. I do not see how the local real estate market will have stabilized enough by then and uncertainty about values was Mecklenburg County’s stated goal in postponing the reval last fall.
But by state law the county must reval every seven years, meaning the fall of 2010 is zero hour.
