In 1973-74, was there a better rock band than Lynyrd Skynyrd? Led Zeppelin was putting out its last great album. The Rolling Stones and Wings were putting out some excellent music, but for consistency of quality can anything beat Pronounced and Second Helping? Anything? The Eagles? I don’t think so.
