Hmm. Oh well, it seemed to work for the Germans we celebrated with last night, Michael, but I’ll admit to an ad libbed greeting. That’s about the worst phrase I’ve tried to pronounce in German, too, so I’d welcome an easier one. I notice the Wieners on the video used the title above anyway.
Anyone for “Xīnni?n Ku?il?” in Mandarin? The intonation would be something like “Shinny on? Kwai! Luh!” And yes, it’s different for Chinese New Year.
