Perhaps the school will fill up with students next year or the year after, but this looks like another typical instance where government officials — spending other people’s money of course — don’t check to see if their rosy assumptions are valid.
The decision against taking over North Carolina Wesleyan and making it part of the UNC system looks pretty good.
