I admit it, I thought it would be downright mean to bring up George Shinn and Hornets with regard to Katrina. I figured it was just an example of me being way too wounded by what went down with the Bugs to have any perspective. I mean, I was in the tank for that team back in the day.
But then I see that the folks at Begging to Differ have already wondered out loud about the public financing package Shinn received from NO and the state of Louisiana.
