The lede kinda says it all:
Virginia’s Republican-controlled legislature voted Tuesday for a $1.36 billion tax increase, handing Gov. Mark R. Warner (D) a major victory and clearing the way for a final budget agreement.
So Virginny’s car tax looks to be forever and the sales tax is going up too.
