This Winston-Salem Journal article talks as if SunEdison’s solar farm in Davidson County is a done deal. Indeed, county commissioners are expected to rezone the land later today. But:

Last year, the commissioners approved $2 million in incentives for the project if the company invested $173 million in the project and provided up to 80 construction jobs and three full-time jobs. SunEdison still hasn’t signed the agreement, and it isn’t clear why. Company officials weren’t available for comment.

I don’t know what I’m missing here, but based on the above information, either SunEdison is having second thoughts about taking incentive money for their solar farm or they’re having second thoughts about the solar farm altogether. I seriously doubt it’s the former, given government’s eagerness to hand out free money for alternative energy.
