From a new survey of likely voters in North Carolina via Rasmussen Reports:

Incumbent Republican Richard Burr continues to hold a modest double-digit lead over both his Democratic challengers in North Carolina’s U.S. Senate race.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state finds Burr earning 50% support, while North Carolina’s longtime Secretary of State Elaine Marshall picks up 36% of the vote. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, ad eight percent (8%) are undecided.

If former State Senator Cal Cunningham is his Democratic opponent, Burr’s support drops to 47%. Cunningham gets 35% of the vote, with seven percent (7%) opting for some other candidate and 10% undecided.
