Diane Ravitch doesn’t like much of the education legislation proposed by members of the NC General Assembly. She doesn’t like it at all. In a recent blog post, she pleads, “Will Secretary [of Education Arne] Duncan or President Obama hurry to North Carolina and urge the legislators to stop their assault on public education? The time is now. There is a fierce urgency to now.”
Yes, come on down! Nothing says “nanny state” like a visit from the feds.
