Good question as to exactly who the artist might be. I looked through the Pre-Raphaelite posters available at allposters.com and couldn’t find a match.

Your painting does strike me as being a bit unusual for a P-R though. To be sure, the themes are about what you would expect. The colors used though are odd. Your painting is very heavy on yellows with almost no darker tones and little color contrast. In most other P-R paintings there’s heavy use of darker colors. Often the subject (maiden) is bathed in sunlight against a darker background.

I can’t imagine the painting being by any of the originators of the Pre-Raphaelite movement or Waterhouse.
