For liberals, there will never be enough money for anything funded by government. Nor will there ever be an admission that a problem is solved. There’s always “so much more work to do” and so many “unmet needs.” And of course, if there’s an “unmet need,” then government is the answer. Im my media work, I’ve found the easiest way to send a leftist into orbit is to ask them this simple question: Based on your definition of what is needed to solve the X-Y-Z problem, how much money should be allocated and how will you measure results? Then sit back and watch the tantrum that ensues when they’re asked to provide a reasoned argument rather than an emotional one.
