According to SqueezethePulp.com (“Orange County’s ‘other’ blog,” which is an open forum), Carrboro’s “dancing man,” who believes he is entitled to dance on someone else’s property, has a criminal record. Brian D. Voyce writes,

In an inspiring piece on personal reformation, last year?s article describes Carrboro?s busker [i.e., the dancing man] as a reformed felon, convicted in Florida for armed gang-related bank robbery, with a parole date of 2069, having served 19 years in jail.

Might these facts have played a role in the decision by Carr Mill to control the lawn? Maybe. Or maybe it was the busker?s recent ?Dancing with Bricks? performance. Certainly anyone familiar with a for?profit retail business understands that insurance risk assessment plays an important role in how one manages that business, particularly where it deals with an ever-changing public on a daily basis.

“Dancing with Bricks”? Sounds more concussive than “Dancing with Scissors.”
