As we ponder Jenna’s question, I’m reminded of the scene of John Edwards’ announcement of his 2004 presidential campaign.
While the assembled fans waited for the candidate’s arrival at the outdoor event in Robbins, a marching band (I believe it was the N.C. Central band) played several tunes to keep people amused.
Most of the songs were unremarkable. One cracked me up: The O’Jays’ “Back Stabbers.”
