Thanks, Jon, I never can remember the name of the Light + Time Tower. I can’t comment on the fifty-grand it cost, other than observing my tax dollars were being squandered by the state of Louisiana at that time so I feel free to enjoy it — which, Believe It Or Not! — I actually do.
Unfortunately, that’s probably a major driver in the “public art” viewpoint — the idea of enjoying expensive … “stuff” … that somebody else paid for.
