Peter Drucker famously said business executives should ask of all their product lines
“If we were not in this already, would we now go
into it?” And if the answer is “no,” the next question should be: “How
do we get out and how fast?”
If, NCCU Law Dean Raymond Pierce suggested Saturday, people just want to get beyond the debate about affirmative action, the answer to the first question would be “no.” The only question then is “25 years” or “25 minutes,” and on this one I agree with you over Justice O’Connor.
