There are so many, where to begin?

I’ll throw in Billy Bragg’s “Help Save the Youth of America“, a bouncy electric folk tune with lyrics like these:

A nation with their freezers full
Are dancing in their seats
While outside another nation
Is sleeping in the streets

And there’s The Clash’s entire “Sandinista!” triple album. It’s got some doozies in it, like “Washington Bullets” and “The Call Up”, which directs listeners to dodge the draft:

It’s up to you not to heed the call-up
I don’t wanna die!
It’s up to you not to hear the call-up
I don’t wanna kill!
