In a sign of how much control the Corporation for Public
Broadcasting has over NPR, every time I check WUNC it’s criticizing
him. Navel-gazing is the topic of the day on The State of Things, Talk
of the Nation, Morning Edition, and All Things Considered.

The editorial quoted leaves one to think that the Winston-Salem Journal is a private propaganda machine for the president.

?As the president’s popularity and approval ratings fall, his
henchmen are trying to stifle the bad news and to silence a network
that refuses to become his propaganda machine.

?If we have to rely on government to fund news critical of
itself, why do people still voluntarily pay for other media outlets?
