Good point, Joe. To which I would add: Setting the thermostat benchmark at 72 degrees gave the future president an obvious out — he could argue that 71 degrees is perfectly acceptable. That one degree makes a world of difference as far as global warming is concerned.
But Obama’s heating habits are not the real issue. How about that inauguration?
