If I understand you right (????) I think what you are saying is that the way to fend off the part of the system that has been totally taken over by government is to partially take over the other part. Well–I disagree.
As for whether or not I would send my child to a school that takes government money, the answer is, apparently yes. I have successfully avoided doing so for 12 years but next year my daughter and my money will be going to Duke–a school that accepts government funds. By the way, neither Hillsdale nor Grove City would be an option for someone who wants to avoid taxpayer subsidies since they both take state, as opposed to federal, money. And this is my point, once you are in that kind of subsidized system, it is nearly impossible, even for principled institutions like Hillsdale and Grove City to “just say no.”
