According to HAWS grant writers,
The major goal of this program will be to develop and implement programs/activities for youth who reside in inner-city, low-income housing with activities that would increase academic performance, increase attendance in school, improve social and behavioral skills, and improve physical fitness status, all of which will lead to a reduction in the dropout rate for these students.
