I just noticed that y?all have been discussing the new report out from the Institute of Medicine purporting to link food advertising and childhood obesity (even though the fine text of the report actually concludes that there is no evidence of a causal relationship between advertising and childhood obesity, but go figure). I haven?t had the time to read Locker Room until now ? as I?ve been preparing a piece for National Review in response to the institute report and the resulting media brouhaha.
