The following may not be that funny and hopefully won’t offend. However, I’d bet the lyrics (or one line) of the following song are probably the most misunderstood (in the same way) ever:
I’m not even going to say what I and probably everyone on the
planet thought Manfred Mann’s Earth Band was singing in “Blinded by the
Light.” The fact that almost everyone will know what I’m talking
about proves my point.
In fact, I still am convinced I’m right
about what they sang. Isn’t it possible that the lyrics aren’t
what they actually are singing?
