The discussion has been real interesting. Apparently, there
are some Neil Young fans among us, and others that think his inability
to sing is an obstacle for a singer. Personally, I don’t rock out
with Neil Young, but don’t have a strong opinion either way.
Music is really subjective Yes, I may like Swing Out Sister, but that does make me a bad guy?
However,
this post is to find common ground by identifying the musicians that I
know we all like. For example, who can resist the 80’s synth
sound of A Flock of Seagulls? I know we all tap our feet to the disco beat with The Trammps
and their 1976 hit “Disco Inferno.” Even for those that don’t
usually bang their heads, there is no denying the pleasure of
headbanging anthems from bands like Cinderella and Poison (not to mention, they had beautiful hair).
There’s just one thing to say: For those about to rock, I salute you!
