Not everyone is happy with Mike Nifong’s surprise request to the Bar panel that they disbar him. As noted in the previous post, defense attorney Dan Boyce says many people will be angry that he didn’t do it sooner. He has a pattern of that, which LieStoppers Forum denizen Buckeye points out:
Nifong recused himself because he knew he would get recused.
Nifong resigned from office because he knew he would be removed (and hoped it would have helped with his ethics trial).
He offered up disbarment because he knew he was going to get disbarred (and he is trying to avoid criminal charges).
