The N&O ran an op-ed this morning from Andy Brock — a Duke and UNC Chapel Hill alum — on his efforts to start a new think tank: Center for a Better South.
No, gentle reader, it does not appear to be another organization dedicated to individual liberty, constitutional order or the protection of traditional rights such as to property. The word “progressive” is key to Mr. Brock’s understanding of a “better south.”
I’ll admit, my web-based research skills may need updating. I could not identify a link to the essay online although it can be found on page 15A of today’s paper.
