Veteran campaigner Vernon Robinson has a commanding lead in his bid to win the GOP nomination in the 13th District congressional primary.
With more than 53 percent of the vote so far, Robinson appears on his way to face incumbent Democrat Brad Miller in the district that stretches from the Triad to the Triangle.
