A survey conducted by employment services ManpowerGroup and published on Forbes magazine’s website rates the Asheville metropolitan area the 13th worst in the country for finding a job, with a net employment outlook of 0 percent.
Meanwhile, the Hendersonville Times-News reports state senator Tom Apodaca (R-Henderson) says the climate is right for business in North Carolina. At a recent Business Morning Update in Hendersonville, the senator said an increasing number of businesses are contacting legislators, seeking to move to the state. One might infer any business seeking state aid is not that well-off.
