Apparently, the self-appointed guardians of the “Separation of Church and State” are hopping mad that NC State’s football team called its game-winning play just now a “Hail Mary.” No doubt somebody out there ? if not Michael Newdow, professional somebody-said-God! shrieker, then maybe some poor chap in Boston ? had their “First Amendment right not to hear a religious sentiment ever” intruded upon when a public university’s football squad won with a play given a religious moniker.
