Hey, like I said a while back, the Rev. Al Sharpton does not go where the national media fails to visit — you see Nick Mackey on the CBS Evening News? Me neither.
As such, I’d be shocked and amazed if Sharpton shows up at the Thursday rally for Mackey.
Update: Evidently Dwayne Collins told WBT this AM that Sharpton is absolutely coming to Charlotte on Thursday. I’ll believe it when it happens. Collins is also backing away from calling the event a pro-Mackey rally. Guess Constance Johnson of City Political magazine needs to stop those Mackey Rally email blasts then. Very strange.
