Interesting, tightly-focused window on the local housing correction from an Uptown paper blog. Reporter Peter St. Onge is wondering out-loud if he should try to sell his house.
Specifically, he is looking to move closer to work and church, to which I say the first step is to use Google and figure out what would cut his commute in half. If he can’t afford, doesn’t like anything that fits that description, then he is done. But. Otherwise, I think there is opportunity in this market if you are not completely upside down on your current home.
Certainly fixer-uppers have never been cheaper considering how hungry contractors are for work.
