A complaint has been lodged against Avery County’s Board of Elections for posting misleading instructions in Spanish. The chief judge was quick to deny that the signs were posted to prevent illegal aliens from voting. The error in the translation was detected only after early voting.
I’m not sure how the complainant’s visiting of other precincts constituted a violation of general statutes.
