I’m sitting here watching Fox News and an ad came on for Conoco-Phillips petroleum. The quote from the ad is that “we have a gap–we are not producing enough energy today to meet tomorrow’s needs.” (huh?)

Now will someone please explain to me why we need to produce enough energy today to meet tomorrow’s needs? It seems to me that we need to produce enough energy today to meet today’s needs and enough energy tomorrow to meet tomorrow’s needs but we sure don’t need to produce enough energy today to meet tomorrow’s needs.

How in the world do people get away with such meaningless drivel?
