“Small” tax on Orange ballot in May?

Bias in journalism? You decide. The headline writer for this Daily Tar Heel story has deemed the proposed 0.4 percent land transfer tax that Orange County residents will vote up or down this May, as no big deal: “Small tax causes big fuss.”

As the story points out, pro-tax and anti-tax forces have geared up and the tax fight is underway.
