Shortly after Hackney’s 68-52 election over Rep. Paul Stam, R-Wake, lawmakers held their first substantive discussion about temporary House rules.
Members approved the temporary rules with an 82-37 vote. We’ll have a more detailed story tomorrow morning for Carolina Journal.
