NRDC seems to have assumed that carbon dioxide is the only contributor to global warming, so whatever produces the most carbon dioxide must be the greatest source of global warming.

But the sun is global warming on Mars, and Mars doesn’t have any people burning coal. Other findings from ancient fossils have led even Princeton’s Michael Oppenheimer to admit at the very least, “the uncertainties are too great to draw any conclusions right now.”
