The Charlotte Business Journal is hosting one of its biz pulse polls, this one on the topic of South Blvd. light rail usage.
In answer to the question Will you ride the south-corridor light-rail train? respondents have put “Never” way out in front with 44 percent. Add in 26 percent for “Occasionally,” and you are looking at 70 percent of presumably pretty wired, in-touch folks saying bleh to the choo-choo.
Now I fully expact an ad hoc Charlotte Chamber and CATS effort to stuff this “ballot box” to make the numbers look better, but still pretty funny.
Other thing to watch, what were almost universally derisive comments about the South line are now “unavailable” according to CBJ. Let’s see if they ever come back.
