The species I’m talking about is the Grover Cleveland Democrat, the sort who believes that the job of the government is to maintain order, not to run people’s lives for them and drain their pockets of every dollar.
Today’s WSJ has an editorial on Montana’s governor Brian Schweitzer, who has declared a five percent cut in state spending and vetoes many spending bills.
