A scene broke out at last night’s meeting of Asheville City Council. The YouTube video went so viral, I think only five people have watched it. Parts of the non-plot included freedom of speech and religion that were infringing on my time and sanity. To this, Mayor Esther Manheimer, cracked the gavel and shouted, “All right. Sit. Down. Now. We’re done with this discussion.”
Having restored order, she cringed and said, “Sorry.” Then, with reflection, added, “I need one of these at home.”
