The N&R reports it’s “unclear” whether Guilford County Medical Examiner Gordon Arnold deleted references to alcoholism and suicide in Courtland Smith’s autopsy report, but the N&O reports “changes to the autopsy report appear to bear the initials J.B.; North Carolina’s Chief Medical Examiner is Dr. John Butts.”
I don’t think it takes a genius to see that something strange is going on here.
