So it’s OK for Democratic majority leaders to be private racists, in Stephanopoulos’ view? I guess that so, since most of the high-powered Democrats in the past 30 or 40 years were once public racists. I’m talking about Sens. Robert Byrd, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Russell, Herman Talmadge, and Fritz Hollings.
