Not that Guilford County Commissioner Steve Arnold has ever really cared what local media says about him, but you have wonder which hurts his feelings more —– the N&R saying he’s the “wrong man” for the county’s new land use director’s job or comparing him to former first lady Mary Easley.
Update The High Point Enterprise agrees with the N&R, saying “Arnold has the right to apply for the job, just as anyone does. But to avoid the appearance of any behind the scenes deals – which would fuel more ‘business as usual’ talk – he should not.”
