Teachers in Henderson County want the commissioners to support schools. Well, technically, they should be supporting children, as everybody knows and nobody disputes. Once again, the problem is not with ends. It’s with means. Could we please turn the conversation around to see if money is landing on stupid fru-fru or goods and services with a high probability of providing education that is challenging, exciting, fun, and effective?

On a topic that we hope is would not be related, Greg Gutfeld’s assertion is worth repeating:

[It’s easier] to throw money at angry fools than to argue with them.
