In (what I consider) a surprise in Guilford County, the $20 million parks and rec bond passed with 57 percent of the vote. It was the one bond the liberal media here didn’t support.
Housing and street improvement bonds pass, but the War Memorial Auditorium bond goes down with 56 percent of voters saying ‘no.’ The future of the auditorium is now officially in doubt, if you believe Coliseum director Matt Brown.
