When Tom Coburn introduced John McCain today he mentioned North Carolina’s infamous Teapot Museum as an example of irresponsible legislative pork, up there with the Bridge to Nowhere and Hillary’s “Hippie Flashback” museum. The teapot reference is at 1:50:

UPDATE: McCain could not have had a better introduction than the one Coburn gives him. It points out that while much of the Republican congress was rushing off the bridge to nowhere, McCain was voting against pork. He lists several other key issue where McCain had the arguably more conservative position than most of his colleagues. This could change a lot of minds.
